Ingredients
  • 1 pound short cut pasta (penne, macaroni, shells, cavatappi)
  • 2 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1 12 oz can evaporated milk
  • 1 Tbsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 8 oz gouda cheese shredded
  • 16 oz colby jack cheese shredded
  • 1 stick butter
Instructions
  1. Boil the pasta according to package directions in salted water, drain and rinse with cold water so it doesn't get mushy.

  2. Put the same pot that you cooked the pasta in back on the stove over medium heat and add remaining ingredients. Stir until melted and evenly combined, around 6 to 8 minutes.

  3. Add the cooked pasta into the cheese sauce and stir until mixed. Pour into a 9x13 casserole dish or 10 inch cast iron skillet.

Note: This will look VERY thin and that is normal, it will thicken in the oven.

  4. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 30 minutes.
