A fun and creative spin combining lasagna and pizza!
Roll the pizza dough to desired thickness. Drizzle with olive oil, spread evenly, and sprinkle with kosher salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
Note: depending on size of grill, you may want to divide the dough into 2 smaller pizzas and grill separately
Preheat grill to 400 degrees or medium heat. Place pizza dough directly onto the grill, close lid for 3 minutes. Flip pizza dough with large spatula. While pizza is on the grill, quickly add pasta tomato sauce, dollops of ricotta, mozzarella slices and close grill.
Check after 3 minutes, if toppings are not melted and pizza crust isn't done, close grill and check after another minute or 2.
Note: if pizza crust is getting too done and toppings are not melted, remove from grill and place in the oven under the broiler for a few minutes on a baking sheet. All grills are different and depending on pizza crust thickness, times may vary.
Serve with fresh basil and crushed red pepper flakes on top.
