Ingredients
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • kosher salt, pepper
  • 3/4 cup light mayo
  • 2/3 cup sweet Thai chili sauce
  • 2-4 Tbsps Sriracha (more or less depending on spice preference)
  • 1 head Boston lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup shredded red cabbage
  • Optional: green onions for garnish
Instructions
  1. Set a skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil. Once the olive oil is hot add the diced onions, cook 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  2. Add the garlic, ground chicken, kosher salt, and pepper to the skillet. Cook 6 to 8 minutes, breaking it apart as it cooks.

  3. In a bowl, whisk together the light mayo, sweet Thai chili sauce, and Sriracha until evenly mixed to make the bang bang sauce.

  4. Add 3/4 of the bang bang sauce to the cooked chicken and stir until evenly mixed and let the chicken come to room temp.

  5. Separate the lettuce to make individual wraps. Fill the lettuce wraps with the shredded carrots, red cabbage, and bang bang chicken. Garnish with green onions if desired and serve the remaining bang bang sauce drizzled over top or on the side.
