Ingredients
  • 4 salmon fillets (approx. 5 oz per piece)
  • 2 1/2 Tbsps soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 Tbsps honey
  • 1 1/2 Tbsps ginger paste or fresh grated ginger
  • 1 to 1 1/2 Tbsps wasabi sauce (more or less according to taste, 1 to 1 1/2 tsps wasabi powder could be substituted if you don't have wasabi sauce)
Instructions
  1. Place the salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet skin side down.

  2. In a bowl mix together the soy sauce, honey, ginger, and wasabi sauce. Divide this mixture in half. Brush half over top of the salmon fillets before cooking and again halfway through cooking, set aside the other half.

  3. Place the baking sheet into a 425 degree oven for 12 minutes. If you want the top charred, turn broiler on high on for the last minute or two. When removing salmon from baking sheet, slide a spatula between the salmon and salmon skin and it will easily separate.

  4. Serve with remaining ginger wasabi sauce on the side for dipping.
