A refreshing Oreo dessert that's easy to make
Finely crush 20 of the Oreo cookies from the package, or pulse in a food processor to create a breadcrumb like consistency. Mix with the melted butter and press evenly into the bottom of a 9x13 pan.
Crush or chop the remaining Oreo cookies into chunks or pieces, set aside.
In a bowl add the cream cheese and powdered sugar. Beat with a hand mixer 3 minutes. Fold in the Cool Whip and half of the crushed Oreos.
Spread this mixture evenly on top of the Oreo cookie crust in the 9x13 pan. Top with remaining crushed Oreos.
Refrigerate several hours before cutting into bars and serving.
