Cheesy filled jalapenos wrapped in bacon and smoked to perfection

Ingredients
  • 6 large jalapenos
  • 8 oz cream cheese at room temp
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 Tbsp BBQ seasoning (plus a little more to sprinkle over top)
  • 12 slices bacon (thin sliced bacon works best)
Instructions
  1. Cut each jalapeno in half, using a spoon scrape away the seeds and white ribs.

    Note: Recommend to wear plastic gloves.

  2. In a bowl mix together the cream cheese, shredded cheddar and 3/4 Tbsp BBQ seasoning.

  3. Stuff each jalapeno half with this mixture and then wrap each jalapeno half with a slice of bacon. Sprinkle a little more BBQ seasoning over top.

  4. Place the jalapenos in a smoker set to 250 degrees for 2 hours.

  5. Let cool slightly and serve.
