Ingredients
  • 1 pound green beans
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 Tbsps butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • kosher salt, pepper
  • 1/2 cup toasted pine nuts
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
Instructions
  1. Cut the ends off of the green beans and cut the green beans into about 1 to 2 inch pieces.

  2. Bring a pot of water to a boil and salt the water. Add the green beans and boil for 5 minutes, drain the water and set the green beans aside.

  3. In a skillet over medium heat add the olive oil and diced onion. Cook 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the green beans, butter, and garlic powder, season with kosher salt and pepper to taste. Cook 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Chop the pine nuts. Sprinkle the chopped pine nuts and feta over the green beans. Taste for seasoning and add more kosher salt or pepper if needed.
