Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3/4 cup shredded carrots
  • kosher salt, pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 bunch Boston lettuce separated into lettuce wraps
  • Toppings: sriracha mayo, sesame seeds
Instructions
  1. Set a large skillet over medium heat. Add the olive oil, diced onion, shredded carrots, kosher salt, and pepper. Cook 3 to 4 minutes stirring a few times.

  2. Add the garlic and ground turkey. Cook 3 to 4 minutes stirring a few times and breaking apart the turkey as it cooks.

  3. Add the hoisin sauce and soy sauce, cook 3 to 4 more minutes stirring a few times.

  4. Let the turkey mixture come to room temperature. Then fill the lettuce wraps with the turkey and top with sriracha mayo and sesame seeds.
