Ingredients
  • 2 racks pork ribs/ spareribs
  • BBQ seasoning or seasoning blend of choice (I used a mix of BBQ seasoning, Cajun seasoning, and garlic powder)
  • kosher salt, pepper
  • BBQ sauce or rib sauce of choice (I used a store bought Salted Vodka rib sauce)
  • Optional: sesame seeds or green onions for garnish
Instructions
  1. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels and cut each of the two racks in half. Season both sides with your BBQ seasoning or seasoning blend of choice, kosher salt, and pepper.

Note: If your seasoning blend has enough salt, the extra kosher salt may or may not be needed.

  2. Place the ribs on their sides in the slow cooker and turn on low for 6 to 8 hours.

  3. Carefully remove the ribs and place on a baking sheet, I had the best luck using tongs. The ribs are very fall off the bone tender so be gentle.

  4. Spread your favorite BBQ sauce or rib sauce of choice on the ribs and place in the oven with the broiler on high for a few minutes. Keep an eye on them and remove once the sauce starts to bubble and caramelize slightly.

  5. Serve with sesame seeds or green onions as garnish if desired.
