Ingredients
Crab Cake Stuffed Jalapenos
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper diced
  • 1 onion diced
  • kosher salt, pepper, crushed red pepper flakes
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning (plus more to sprinkle over top)
  • 12 oz jumbo lump crab meat (I used canned) drained
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 10 to 12 jalapeno peppers
Old Bay Aioli
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1 clove garlic finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
Instructions
Crab Cake Stuffed Jalapenos
  1. Drizzle olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and add the peppers and onions. Season with kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. Cook 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  2. Add the garlic, lemon juice, and Old Bay. Cook 1 more minute.

  3. Turn off the heat and let the mixture come to room temp. Once at room temp gently fold in the crab meat, panko bread crumbs, and beaten eggs.

  4. Cut the jalapenos in half lengthwise and scrape out the seeds and white ribs with a spoon. Fill each jalapeno half with the crab cake mixture and sprinkle more Old Bay seasoning over top.

  5. Place the stuffed jalapenos in the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to 400 degrees for 9 to 11 minutes. Serve the stuffed jalapenos with old Bay aioli drizzled over top.

Old Bay Aioli
  1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and serve with the stuffed jalapenos.
