Ingredients
Air Fryer Crab Fritters
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper diced
  • 1 onion diced
  • kosher salt, pepper, crushed red pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning (plus more to sprinkle over top)
  • 12 oz jumbo lump crab meat (I use canned) drained
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs
Old Bay Aioli
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1 clove garlic finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
Instructions
Air Fryer Crab Fritters
  1. Drizzle olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and add the peppers and onions. Season with kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. Cook 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  2. Add the garlic, lemon juice, and Old Bay. Cook 1 more minute.

  3. Turn off the heat and let the mixture come to room temp. Once at room temp gently fold in the crab meat, panko bread crumbs, and beaten eggs.

  4. Roll into 24 balls and place them in the air fryer basket and sprinkle Old Bay over top. Set the air fryer to 370 degrees for 9 to 11 minutes.

  5. Serve with the Old Bay Aioli for dipping.

Old Bay Aioli
  1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and serve with the crab fritters.
