Ingredients
  • 1 pound salmon skin removed
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 Tbsp garlic paste or minced garlic
  • kosher salt, pepper, seasoning blend of choice
  • 1 avocado diced
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: mayo or spicy mayo, lettuce or slaw, pickled red onions.
Instructions
  1. Cut the skinless salmon into 2 inch pieces and put them in a food processor and pulse a few times so the salmon comes together but is not completely smooth.

  2. Move the salmon to a bowl and add the breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, kosher salt, pepper, and seasoning blend of choice in a bowl. Combine with your hands, then gently fold in the diced avocado and form 4 burger patties. place each in the air fryer basket.

    Note: It's normal for the patties to be delicate, so putting right in air fryer is highly suggested so you don't have to move them again.

  3. Set the air fryer to 380 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

  4. Serve the salmon burgers on buns with optional toppings such as mayo or spicy mayo, lettuce or slaw, pickled red onions.
