Cheesy Goetta Bacon Melts have crispy goetta and bacon with cheese and melted to perfection on a panini press on King's Hawaiian rolls
Slice the bacon strips in half and cook in a skillet over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes, flipping halfway through or in an air fryer set to 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
After cooking place them on paper towels.
Cut the goetta into 10 slices. I had a roll so my slices were round. Set a skillet over medium heat and add a little olive oil. Cook the goetta slices, a few at a time, 4 to 5 minutes per side. Repeat with the remaining goetta patties.
Note: Goetta is very delicate, so allow the full 4 to 5 minutes before flipping, flipping too early can cause it to fall apart.
Cut the cheese slices in half and slice the slider rolls. To assemble each slider place half a slice of cheese, a slice of goetta (drizzle some hot sauce and maple syrup on the goetta if desired), two half slices of bacon, place another half slice cheese and the top slider roll.
Set the panini press to medium and place a few sliders in the panini press for 2 minutes or until the bread is toasty and cheese is melty.
