Ingredients
  • 8 slices bread (I used King's Hawaiian sliced bread)
  • 2 oz blackberry jam
  • 8 slices swiss cheese
  • 12 slices deli ham
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Frosted Flakes cereal
  • 2 Tbsps butter
  • Optional: powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Assemble each sandwich by spreading the blackberry jam on a slice of bread, add a slice of swiss, 3 slices of ham, another slice of swiss and the top slice of bread.

  2. Crack the eggs in a bowl and add the milk and vanilla. Beat with a fork until mixed.

  3. Crush the Frosted Flake cereal (I put the cereal in a gallon size bag and used a rolling pin to crush it). Put the crushed cereal in another bowl.

  4. Preheat a skillet or griddle to medium/ medium low heat (I used my Blackstone griddle) and add the butter. Dip each sandwich, both sides into the egg mixture then into the cereal crumbs and press the crumbs to coat both sides of the sandwich.

  5. Put the sandwich in the skillet or griddle for 2 to 3 minutes per side.

Note: I made all four sandwiches at once on my Blackstone griddle, if cooking these in a skillet you may have to cook two sandwiches at once.

  6. Serve with powdered sugar sprinkled over top if desired.
