Steak with Herb Cream Sauce is quite the decadent dinner, grill any steak of choice and serve with this rich cream sauce with fresh herbs
Set a skillet over high heat and add the butter, beef broth, heavy cream, fresh herbs, dijon mustard, garlic, kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
Bring this to a boil and reduce the heat to medium low, simmer 13 to 15 minutes. Let the sauce come to room temp while you grill the steaks, it will get thicker as it sits.
Note: Watch carefully when bringing to a boil, if it starts to bubble over remove from heat for a moment.
Coat the steaks with the olive oil and season both sides with kosher salt and pepper.
Preheat the grill to medium high heat. Grill the steaks 3 to 5 minutes per side depending on thickness and how you prefer them cooked.
Serve the steaks with the herb cream sauce.
