Ingredients
  • 4 Tbsps butter
  • 1/2 onion finely minced
  • 1 Tbsp garlic paste or minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsps Cajun seasoning
  • 3 Tbsps worcestershire sauce
  • 2/3 cup chicken broth
  • 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cups cooked rice (I used Ben's Jasmine Rice in microwave pouches)
  • 4 lemon wedges
  • green onions for garnish
Instructions
  1. Set a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter and onion. Cook 4 minutes. Add the garlic, cook 1 more minute.

  2. Add 1 Tbsp of the Cajun seasoning, worcestershire sauce, chicken broth, and the heavy cream. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to simmer for 9 to 10 minutes.

  3. While the sauce is simmering toss the shrimp with the olive oil and remaining 1 Tbsp Cajun seasoning. Put the shrimp on a baking sheet and into a 400 degree oven for 9 to 10 minutes.

  4. Serve the shrimp and cajun cream sauce over the rice with a lemon wedge and green onions.
