Perfectly air fried chicken with a sweet and spicy dipping sauce
Cut the chicken breasts into strips. Place in a gallon size plastic baggie or bowl. Pour the buttermilk over the chicken and the dashes of Tabasco sauce. Massage the baggie or stir until evenly mixed. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
In a bowl mix together the panko, salt, garlic powder, paprika, and pepper. Dip each chicken strip into the panko mixture and press the panko slightly into the chicken. Arrange the chicken strips in the air fryer, not touching.
Set the air fryer for 20 minutes at 390 degrees. Depending on your air fryer size you may need to do these in 2-3 batches.
Serve with Spicy Honey for dipping.
Whisk together the honey and Tabasco. Serve with the chicken.
