A simple and elegant appetizer that's always a crowd pleaser

Ingredients
  • 1 french baguette cut into half inch slices
  • olive oil, kosher salt, pepper
  • 4-6 oz goat cheese (spreadable, not crumbled)
  • 4 oz sun dried tomatoes sliced
  • 1 oz balsamic glaze
  • fresh basil leaves sliced
Instructions
  1. Place the sliced baguette on a baking sheet. Brush the top with olive oil and sprinkle with kosher salt and pepper. Place in a 400 degree oven for 5 minutes.

  2. Once the crostini are cooled, spread with goat cheese and top with a few slices of sun dried tomato.

  3. Drizzle with the balsamic glaze and garnish with basil leaves.

    Note: You can find balsamic glaze in a squeeze bottle in the vinegar section of the grocery store.
