Ingredients
  • 1 pound maple breakfast sausage
  • 8 Eggo Waffles
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup 100% pure maple syrup
Instructions
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage for 5 to 8 minutes until fully cooked.

  2. Toast the waffles and then cut into cubes. Place into a greased/ buttered 9x13 baking dish. Add the cooked sausage and cheese and toss together until evenly combined.

  3. In a bowl beat together the eggs, milk, and maple syrup. Pour over top the waffles, sausage and cheese. Using the back of a fork, press the waffles down into the egg mixture.

  4. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 45 minutes. Serve with extra maple syrup on the side if desired.
