Ingredients
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 onion diced
  • kosher salt, pepper
  • 2 packets onion soup and dip seasoning
  • 1 10 oz can cream of onion soup
  • 1 10 oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 16 oz container sour cream
  • Optional: 4 cups chopped spinach
  • 4 cups egg noodles cooked
  • 1 6 oz container crispy fried onions
Instructions
  1. Put the chicken and onions in the slow cooker and season with kosher salt and pepper.

  2. Add the onion soup and dip seasoning packets, cream of onion soup, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream to a bowl and stir until evenly mixed. Pour this mixture over the chicken and onions. Turn the slow cooker on low for 6 to 8 hours.

  3. Shred the chicken into smaller pieces with two forks right in the slow cooker and stir in the chopped spinach if using (wait 10 minutes before adding the noodles if adding the spinach). Add the cooked noodles and stir until evenly mixed and top with crispy fried onions.
