Slow Cooker Chicken Pesto Pasta has just a few simple ingredients slow cooked all day and tossed with pasta and lots of cheese!
Put the chicken in the slow cooker and sprinkle with kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. Spoon the pesto evenly over the chicken. Add the diced onions and garlic and pour the alfredo sauce over top.
Turn the slow cooker on low for 6 to 8 hours.
Shred the chicken with two forks right in the slow cooker.
Cook the pasta according to package directions in salted water, drain well, and add the pasta and cheese to the slow cooker. Stir until evenly mixed and melted.
Garnish with more cheese and Italian seasoning if desired.
