Always a hit at parties or picnics, an easy and yummy appetizer!
Using kitchen scissors, cut bacon into bite size pieces into a skillet over medium heat. Cook about 5 minutes until done, drain on paper towels.
Mix together the sour cream and ranch seasoning in a large bowl. Set aside some of the bacon, cheese, and green onions to sprinkle over top once the dip is finished, mix in the rest of the bacon, cheese, and green onions.
Sprinkle the bacon, cheese, and green onions that you set aside over top and serve with potato chips.
