Fish Bites with Fat Free Homemade Tartar Sauce

Ingredients
Fat Free Homemade Tartar Sauce
  • 5 oz container nonfat plain greek yogurt
  • 2-3 Tbsps dill pickle relish
  • old bay seasoning
  • Optional: fresh dill
Baked Fish Bites
  • 1 pound fish of choice
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups panko bread crumbs
  • old bay seasoning
Instructions
For the Fat Free Homemade Tartar Sauce
  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl, taste for seasoning and add more dill pickle relish or old bay if needed. Store in the fridge until ready to use.

For the Fish Bites
  1. In a bowl beat the eggs with a fork. Put the panko bread crumbs in a separate bowl and add with old bay seasoning to taste.

  2. Cut the fish into bite size nuggets. Dip each piece of fish into the egg, then into the panko bread crumbs and place on a lined baking sheet or on a wire baking rack over a baking sheet if baking. PLace in  the air fryer basket if air frying.

  3. Baking: Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Serve with the Fat Free Homemade Tartar Sauce.

    Air Fryer: Set the air fryer to 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
