Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup mayo (or light mayo)
  • 1/3 cup sweet Thai chili sauce
  • 2 Tbsps Sriracha (more or less depending on spice preference)
  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • kosher salt, pepper
  • 1 egg
  • olive oil cooking spray (I used Pam olive oil spray)
  • Optional: green onions for garnish
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl whisk together the mayo, sweet Thai chili sauce, and Sriracha to make the Bang Bang Sauce.

  2. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.

  3. Put the flour in a small bowl and season with kosher salt and pepper. Beat the egg in a separate bowl.

  4. Dip each shrimp in the egg and then coat with the flour. Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray the olive oil cooking spray over top of the shrimp.

  5. Set the air fryer to 390 degrees for 12 minutes, shake the basket halfway through cooking.

  6. Remove the shrimp from the basket and toss it in a bowl with some of the bang bang sauce. Serve with the remaining bang bang sauce on the side and garnish with green onions if desired.
