
Air Fryer Greek Chicken
Air Fryer Greek Chicken is a complete, easy air fryer dinner recipe that’s healthy and perfect served with warm Naan bread along with the yummy yogurt dipping sauce.
Kind like a deconstructed chicken gyro is how we enjoyed ours.

How to make Air Fryer Greek Chicken
First cut 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs into bite size pieces.
And put them in a gallon size plastic bag.
Then mix the sauce and marinade together in a bowl.

Just combine 2 containers of nonfat plain Greek yogurt along with some mayo, lemon juice, oregano, garlic or garlic powder, kosher salt, and pepper.
Add a few spoonfuls of this to the chicken and massage the bag until it’s evenly coated.
And marinate in the fridge for a few hours.

Then cut a red pepper and a red onion into inch size pieces and toss them in a bowl with olive oil, kosher salt, and pepper.
And put them in the air fryer basket.
Put the marinated chicken bites over top along with another sprinkle of kosher salt, pepper, and oregano.
Then set your air fryer to 390 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes.

While the chicken and veggies are cooking in the air fryer, warm up some Naan bread or pita bread.
I went with this Stonefire Naan.

Serve Air Fryer Greek Chicken with the remaining yogurt sauce and the warm Naan bread 🙂

The dream bite for me had some chicken, veggies, lots of sauce, and the warm bread.

Air Fryer Greek Chicken
Air Fryer Greek Chicken is a complete healthy air fryer dinner recipe with veggies and an easy to make yogurt marinade and dipping sauce!
Ingredients
- 2 5.3 ounce containers nonfat plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons mayo
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano (plus more to sprinkle over top)
- 2 to 3 cloves garlic (or a teaspoon of garlic powder) finely minced
- kosher salt, pepper
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or breasts) cut into inch pieces
- 1 red bell pepper cut into inch pieces
- 1 red onion cut into inch pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Optional: toasted/ warm Naan or pita bread
Instructions

Put the yogurt, mayo, lemon juice, oregano, garlic, kosher salt, and pepper in a bowl, Stir until mixed.

Put the chicken pieces in a gallon size plastic bag along with a few spoonfuls of the yogurt sauce. Massage the bag until combined and marinate a few hours or overnight.

Put the peppers and onions in a bowl with the olive oil, kosher salt, and pepper. Toss until combined and put them in the air fryer basket. Put the chicken in the air fryer basket with the veggies, attempting a single layer but overlapping is fine and sprinkle more kosher salt, pepper, and oregano over top.

Set the air fryer to 390 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes. Serve with the remaining yogurt sauce for dipping and with toasted/ warm Naan or pita bread if desired.
